I recieved an unsolicited email from this company with the following: "We've approved your loan! Take care not to open lines of credit or change employment before you close." I did not inititate contact from this company, and I did not apply for a loan with them, or anyone else for a home loan. The ************************************ lists this unsolicited contact as one of the first signs of a home loan scam.

It took 40 offers in this crazy market in SW ******* and over a year of looking, but when we finally got approved for the house we wanted it took only a little over a month and we are moved in! Our loan process was smooth.. this is our 2nd time using Veterans United. However our escrow was calculated wrong at closing and we never knew, leaving a shortage in our account. Our payment was on automatic withdrawal each month and we had no idea. Here comes January they do an assessment ( gave us a project analysis) which projected property tax and home owners going up) hiked our payment up.. our home owners wasn't set to renew until April and they demanded the projected amount each month.
