Called today and talked to ***********************, inquiring about a VA home loan. refinance. he said before he even talks or gives any ideas he HAS TO run a hard credit report. I have shopped other VA lenders and they do give quotes but they state "based on current interest rates, subject to change until the rate is locked in". He said they don't operate that way, and he implied "we run a hard credit score, and if you don't like what I tell you then too bad", and your credit score got hit ultimately lowering your credit ra... read more
