filed a claim on my roof for storm damage may 2021. had over 50 missing shingles and several more that were loose and had one area of the roof which was leaking inside to the sheetrock roof in the kitchen causing water damage. had my contractor come out and we started the process. at first things seemed to be going along fine. my contrator assured me the roof needed to be replaced. everything turned when state farms inspector came to job. inspector agreed 100 % with my contractor then filed a total different report with thei... read more
I have been with State Farm for years but will be shopping for new insurance now! We had a hail storm come through on June 18th. My contractor said I had hail damage to my roof, gutters and vinyl siding. The first adjuster said I had damage to my only the gutters on the front of my house. No hail damage to my roof and NEVER even looked at my siding. Contractor came out and took pictures and submitted to my agent. They assigned a new adjuster to my case. He told me I had NO hail damage anywhere. He stated some one shot holes ... read more

Absolutely awful customer service. I was charged when I didn’t need to. They will issue me a refund check but it will take now longer. Nobody seems to want to help. They keep on saying that is not the correct office. They send you to another one. There is no connection between anyone. I will not recommend State Farm to anyone.

I feel as though the claim specialist (Marisol ******) in this company that I have worked with recently was horrible. She tells me unless I can provide receipts I don’t get reimbursed for my items. It’s not my fault that where I stay didn’t look into the problem that caused the first claim , the second claim that I dropped or the one that I’m currently going through where my ceiling had to be pulled. I feel as though that’s when they should contact them theirselves to see exactly why I had to make more than one claim. No, in... read more
Why do we pay for insurance if we can never use it? I have been in my home for 19 years and only filed one claim with state farm and that was for the roof. I noticed water coming up through my kitchen floor last week and called to file a claim after learning a pipe has gone bad. The water had to be turned off. I was informed today my claim was denied because it appeared the pipe had been leaking for a while although I was not aware of it. They find every loop hole in the world to deny claims.
