I'm working at the VA in Seattle and noticed that the food is not very good I'm speaking to the director of vendor services about a food truck and would like your input as to what items you believe would serve our community best.

Everyone is extremely helpful and kind. They took excellent care of my dad. There is construction going on outside but it doesn't interfere with the coming and goIng. Property is well kept and clean.

I have been going there for 17 years. They have helped my quality of life. We figured out my mental disorders and the right meds (have had same psychiatrist for 17 years). I have been an inpatient for infections a few times (diabetic) great staff in outpatient as well as inpatient. They have done such a good job and redoing things, today I think this VA is the best out of all of them. Oorah!

The VA system is the USA's largest HMO. It is a "non-profit", funded totally by Americans tax dollars (and some co-payment through "for profit" insurance company's). The VA system as a whole is operating at 110%. We need more staff, more locations (Satellite clinics?), and more straight up CIVILIAN volunteers. I appreciate it when someone says to me "Thank you for your service", but if you REALLY are grateful to those who serve, please, contact any veterans services organisation and simply ask, "How can I help?"
