If there were a department that personified everything WRONG with the Seattle VA it's the Pharmacy. From using computers to do personal business instead of checking in veterans that must put up with this to even BEGIN the process of filling their medications, to the surly, holier than thou attitude of the intake personnel. Absolutely rude and adversarial. I sit here without a life-saving course of Prednisone because they failed to send it to me per my Doctor's SPECIFIC orders. A life saving med DENIED. always there, watching out for you, VA is the best for Veterans, other people can have a health care plan, but it doen''t beat Veterans
The Puget Sound VA health care system is excellent. They have met every medical need that I have had since 1980. I'm impressed with the level of care I have received.
