Yesterday went down to try to get a form filled out for my husband it's no different then a dmv handicapped form.. some older Aferican American man pulled the veteran up and said "" your employable " and I quote First the man saying this is not a doctor, secondly we are trying to get a claim done to get him rated higher.. the veteran is on oxgyen his mental status has declined.. how dare anyone not a physician or nurse practitioner decide what he seems to think about anyone health. Spent 55 minutes 32 seconds on hold waiting for an appointment then I was disconnected callef back just to find out they had closed.
PA arliene overstreet refused me treatment for diagnosis clearly stated on the progress note as URI. No meds were prescribed. I reported that I was in bed with severe chills the night before and coughing large amounts of green phlegm, conveniently the green phlegm part of my complaint was omitted. Totally obtuse to my acute illness. She had an attitude from the minute I walked into the office and treated me like I was a crack head crawling in off the street. Ugly attitude. better hope you don't need to go to the E.R. with out you dying first they wont pay the claim. they don't pay non emergency. got dizzy as hell and almost passed out and wife took me to the E.R. and got check out. Dr. could not find any thing. so the V.A said it was not life threatening and dined the claim. GOOD LUCK getting care.
