I wouldn't recommend St. Augustine VA to my worst enemy. I have been trying to get an appointment there since before Thanksgiving. but Nurse Johnson, Maureen and David who rin this VA are repeatedly refusing to allow me to be seen. and David will not return calls. and Susan who also runs this VA calls and leaves messages with the wrong phone number. they are THE worst VA ever, racist, discriminatory, biased, unprofessional and could care less if Veterans lived or died.
Terrible phone service. I phoned community services I was third in line and automated female voice says wait time 7 minutes. This gets repeated exactly several times for 14 minutes. Then a automated male voice states I am caller 13 and the wait time is 62 minutes. SO I HUNG UP. a few minutes and several busy signals I get through. Guess what? I’m 3rd in line. Guess what? History repeats itself exactly. I’m now 13th with a 62 minute wait. ZERO STARS FOR PHONE SYSTEM AND ITS ENGINEER.
Ya'll are complete garbage. You guys have literally dropped the ball every step of the way for the last 5 years and have zero accountability.
If my life depended on these guys to answer the phone, i would've been dead already. 50 minutes on hold and on top of that they hung the call 😡😡😡😡, folks in here apparently hate their job that they don't even have the courtesy to greet and smile at all

Although the people who work at the Optical Clinic and the Optical Center are friendly and helpful at appointments, the system for glasses is not adequately supportive of patient's needs. My January 2018 annual eye checkup appointment at the Jacksonville VA OPC was canceled one day before the appointment. After waiting four months I hadn't been notified of a rescheduled appointment.
