I feel good going there and getting some answers on my problems. This is the best that I have had in years.
So I moved from Madison WI to The Colony TX. I had a sleep study done in WI and needed a CPAP machine. When I got to the North Texas VA hospital I went to eligibility to get registered. I told the lady I needed a CPAP machine. She said no problem and sent me to the emergency window for the CPAP machine after I got registered. The emergency lady told me that I needed to go to the 3rd floor to pulmonary area. When I got there I told the lady at the window I needed a CPAP machine. I have always had real good care and hospitality from them the only thing is that they are real busy with all the veterans we have in this area you just have to be patient with them and wait your turn.
The VA really SUCKS! Tried calling several "Patient Advocate" phone numbers, only to have them ring and ring, then disconnect. The CHOICE program is worthless! No wonder so many veterans are exasperated and depressed. Yes, the VA SUCKS BIG TIME!!!
5/15/17 Early in the morning, I went to the North Texas VA Healthcare system, commonly called Dallas VA, for a lung biopsy. For a small mass on my lower right diaphragm. I checked in before my appointment and was in and out in a hour! I just wish he would have whispered sweet nothings in my ear before he stuck his finger up my butt! lol
4.5. The VA has been nothing but good for me and to me. Looks to me like they have worked hard to take care my needs. The VA knows me as Arthur Anderson. Thank you VA for taking care of me. O have not meet a rude or un proffesional care taker or receptionist. Not even a volunteer.
Packing 3 veterans in one room with curtain dividers is unnecessary... a regular room with 3 beds? Can anyone say sardines? Definitely Hippa Violation. No privacy through those curtains...you could hear every word being asked and answered. My dads neighbor in there said he didn't smoke marijuana and the DR said that isn't what came back on your blood work...
