The doctors were amazing the er not so much it was like any other hospital good staff and rude ones too
When i tell you i hate this hospital but i have to go because i am a Vet....they hire some of the rudest NON MILITARY PPL THAT THEY CAN FIND.....ESPECIALLY IN THE CLINICS!!! They treat the Vets like trash and dont listen to US...Some of them are jus there for a check and some have been there so long they know it will take a act of Congress to get them FIRED!!! As Vets we go through ENOUGH in the military...why should we still hv to deal with the insensitive rude impatient employees at the VA when we are trying to get help...... read more
We'll, the staff was so nice. People wanted to help any way they could. I got lost in the hallways, 10 staff members came to my rescue. Had a very good eye doctor. Will get glasses in 2-3 wks. Thank you VA Hospital & Staff.....
People have a negative perception about the VA healthcare. All my visits, tests and procedures thus far have been better than the COBRA insurance last year. Plus, I don't have to fight with the insurance company! Excellent care.

They were extremely rude and down right mean to my son in the emergency room right after my son came home from fighting for them in Iraq, and Afghanistan and Iraq again . Infantry I will say they upped their game after that and letters mailed to the President of the VA
My appointment was at 1400 hours. I was in the exam room by 1405. The PA I saw was a five star. Obvious that he knew his business, put you at ease right away and took care of business in a professional, efficient manner. I left feeling good about the health care. But, that is where the positives end, facility is dirty. More than "some" of the staff are rude or they ignore you.
Like everywhere you go these days, there are rude, insensitive, impatient, and ungrateful people here - and some of them are the VA staff. Would you like to work at a VA hospital: underpaid, grossly under-staffed, underfunded, and overwhelmed? VA hospitals across this country exemplify what many Americans really mean when they spout, "Thank you for your service (i.e., as long as it doesn't cost ME money)".
