TLDR: USAA failed to act in a timely manner after sending out their own contractor resulting in water damage becoming mold and wicking up drywall. They now undervalue our claim by shoving what was a water damage claim into the $5000 mold coverage category. USAA has practiced bad faith insurance in regards to my claim and continued to convolute, lie, and withhold data. I'm as far as I can go before diving into the court system. USAA doesn’t care about their 100% disabled veterans! They treat them like garbage! Highly do. It recommend using them at all!!!!!! Been a member for 10 plus years and they don’t care about the veterans!

Insurance claim is more than a year and a half in and still not settled. Credit card gets cancelled every year or so due to some breech on their end. I reported fraud earlier this year and they “investigated,” claiming the charges were valid, despite me never receiving the order and proving the order was cancelled. Reported another fraudulent charge in September & cancelled my card. USAA said they couldn’t cancel and that the system would automatically send me a new card. It’s been one year since we’ve filed the claim on our roof! If anyone wants to use USAA DO NOT!!!! And it’s been 3 weeks since the umpire requested payment!! And we’ve seen nothing! Thanks USAA for treating veterans and healthcare workers so poorly!!! Mold is still growing!! Leaks are getting worse! And we were told that USAA has been fighting the umpires decisions and we still might have to go to court!! Which if you don’t know about umpires and that whole process just know it’s unheard of!!

I called USAA to replace my transmission. Instead of getting a remanufactured transmission, they put one from another car in it and the clutch slips. They won't replace it again. They have also canceled our insurance twice now due to "non payment" EVEN THOUGH we called EVERY MONTH and kept being told we had a ZERO BALANCE. We also had no way to pay through the app OR the browser. How am I supposed to pay you if you don't provide me with a way to do so? So, we're out over two grand because of them. I am SO done.

My account was hacked and someone spent a very large sum of money two weeks ago. They’ve yet to reverse those charges or call me back after escalating several times. “It can be between 30-60 days” during a pandemic. Nice guys!

usaa professes to be primarily for the military and veterans. Then will someone please explain to me why usaa would be the official insurance company of the nfl, a sport organization where the players refuse to stand for our National Anthem. Am I the only one that sees anything wrong with this? I am a Veteran and I think I would go without insurance before I would buy it from usaa. Way to go usaa. Your showing your true colors.
