My son in-law was brought in by ambulance in terrible pain and between ER and being put in a regular room or possibly from his room, his wallet and watch was stolen! He had it in the ER because he provided them with Id and ins info. This had to be done by a employee because nobody else is allowed in! His cards were used by whoever stole it, over 300$ worth! Watch your belonging! Pretty sad when you have employees who steal from very sick people!!

Do not send your loved ones here - especially if anyone has Covid. HORRIBLE communication from nurses and doctors. If you are unconscious, your belongings will probably be stolen, and you can expect poor treatment medically. BEWARE!!!

I was admitted through the ER yesterday with chest pain. It was quite frightening as I’ve never had any heart issues. Turned out my heart is fine but reflux caused my chest pain. I want to give a shout out to everyone that helped me. Dr Evans in the ER calmed my fears, explained everything and took time to answer all my questions. He was very nice and personable. My fear was calmed after he saw me. Jayce and John were my nurses in the ER. They were so busy, worked so hard and yet still very compassionate and took great care ... read more

I had to be hospitalized there for 3 days n i really am proud to have had cathy parrish as my nurse she was so kind n politie. couldnt have asked for a better nurse. n the food was awesome even though couldnt eat alot at the time .it was way better then use to be. n you get to choose your meals a day ahead. I highly recommend this hospital n the nurse in ellijay Er named Nikki Jones. she made the transfer n all to hospital so easy n comfortable. thank you ladies so much!!

My experience at Eastside Medical Group was amazing. I went in to see doctor Andrew Kramer for an hernia surgery. Doctor was extremely knowledgeable, caring and explained everything about the surgery. He did my surgery and it was smooth and quick. Great doctor to go to. Took great care of me and did a wonderful job. He is very professional and I am so glad I have found him for my surgery procedure. Highly recommended to anyone who needs to have surgery done.

Used the ED yesterday. I have been in health care for 25 plus years. I was very impressed. The professional staff, timely test, etc. Given the current state of COVID I felt very safe. Thank you to all the staff.

I have lived in Jasper my entire life and Piedmont Mountainside has never been worth anything. We have and always will continue to go to Northside Cherokee. Unless you are okay with sitting for 4-5 hours no matter how urgent your issue is then I do not recommend going to Piedmont Mountainside. The nurses and doctors act like they are respectful and nice but they are slow and do not care of the severity of your condition.
