I recently had foot surgery at University Hospital and everyone from the pre-admissions staff, surgeon, PACU, and Home Health Care team have all been superb. Having been a RN at University Hospital for nearly 30 years, it is nice still feeling the bond of the UH family. Discharge begins at pre-admissions and ends with discharge/or home health care. I had to leave UH with a muscle disease called Mitochondrial Myopathy in 2016 but my loyalty and heart will always be with the best! Thanks again University Health Care System. Co... read more

I arrived at University Health Care System last night around 7:30 p.m. From the initial check in to triage to treatment my wait felt interminable, but as I looked around the beautiful waiting room, I noticed many individuals who seemed hale and hearty. Personally feeling miserable, and only having gone to the ER based on my primary physician’s advice, I had a difficult time watching “patients” eating fried chicken and seeming to party.
