Your emergency department is by far the worst in Augusta! Waited 5 hours to have an X-ray, EKG and blood pressure checked, to be told there were still 11 more people ahead of my husband that had more serious symptoms than chest pains and shortness of breath!! What a complete joke! And your care line isn’t an actual care line. It’s a voicemail system, so I can leave my information and hope someone calls back? Like I’ve been waiting for over a week now for his cardiologist to call back with appointments for a stress test!

Just overheard NURSE (not respiratory therapist) administer breathing treatment to patient in ED. Beyond the pale. Nurse said medicine will “make your lungs get bigger.” What a S***show.

Where do I start! The unprofessionalism of the ‘nursing station’ staff was horrible. They do not respond to alerts or alarms. You are luck if they call the assigned nurse. This is when family is there. I can only imagine when we are not there if what is going in. We complained to the charge nurse but it was brushed off. I have files a complaint through the BBB due to the conditions and the retaliation of the staff.
