I am a mental health counselor and I see clients with United Healthcare insurance. They are the absolute worst health insurance company that I work with. I have been having issues with getting paid for services that I provided to clients with UHC insurance. There are services that I provided over a year ago that I have still not been paid for at this time. UHC currently owes me roughly $4,000. I have United Healthcare insurance through my employer. As a cost-saving measure I was told to begin using their mail order pharmacy, Optum RX. Recently, Optum sold its business to another mail order pharmacy called Briova. On my first attempt to use Briova to re-order medication I experienced lots of difficulty completing the order, apparently due to bureaucratic incompetence, but the order was eventually delivered to me. This is a terrible insurance company that cares very little for its customers. They are intentionally evasive and confusing. Customer service is the worst I've encountered.

Terrible customer service. Hours of phone calls. I was provided incorrect and misleading information about how to get the medications my family needs. Took too long to obtain critical medications for my son's diabetes and my medical problems.

They are a horrible, mismanaged, disgraceful company. Google UMR horrible customer service to get an idea. I have cancer from my volunteer work at the WTC after 9/11. They (LHI/UHC/UMR) are who the government has chosen to handle the claims of the responders and they are either horribly incompetent or are using that as a guise to not pay claims. Stanford just called me because they have called for four days trying to get approval for an upcoming CT scan of my lung lesions and I told them "welcome to my world." They don't pic... read more

OptumRX is a terrible company for helping people with their prescription medicine because they are terrible at billing. I have received the same overdue bill on my account number listing an order number of 000000000 and a balance of $25 for no medicine. When I did place an order it was for a different amount and supplied a credit card when I ordered. On calling them I asked to have this resolved on 2 separate occasions. This review is for Briova Rx... This pharmacy is absolutely terrible. Terrible customer service. The customer service representatives are rude and are not knowledgeable about the process of having a prescription filled. Every time I call, I get a different answer from another rude representative. When I ask to speak to someone who can answer my questions, I am put on hold for long periods of time while they wait for me to hang up. In January my wife and me tried to order her mail order medicine from OptumRX. The female agent was not helpful cursed me out and hung up on me. W tried several different time resolve this issue and filed a complaint. We never resolved the issue and have not heard back with a resolutions to this problem. We went to the local drug Pharmacy and filled the medication. This sort of behavior is unacceptable. To date we have not resolved this complaint. Title: Contract End. I am 67 years old. I have had severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) for 25 years. My health is poor.
