I have payed this company a 120 dollars a week for the past 2 years. Literally never used them. Today I needed a prescription for an inhaler for my daughter. Went to the pharmacy. They told me United health care was denieing it because they were not the primary insurance for the children. My children literally have no insurance but United health care. They said there was a change to the account. In August. Saying the children had other insurance. And that it would be the primary. I did not authorize it. So who did? Sooo afte... read more

Only because I had to choose a star is the ONLY reason they are got that. Absolutely hands down, the most atrocious, disgusting, uneducated, irritating, rude, insubordinate, unethical, incorrect group of CUSTOMER SERVICE (loosely used) agents I have ever encountered. I have been apart of the medical profession for the past 15 years and just recently (I assume due to recent experiences) UHC has allowed most if not all provider calls or just service period to be given to their "overseas" or "legacy" team to handle claims. Terrible customer service - website difficult to use. Had to send them the power of attorney 3 times before they admitted they received it and would eat with me speaking for my mother. They mailed 3 months worth of Rivistignine patches - approximately $400. I told them MD had taken my mother off the patch. Rep said he would mail me a return envelope so I could return them since the boxes were never opened & I would receive a refund. Website fails to allow access to view EOB's 90% of the time. Requires change of password everytime (my password has changes over 5 times in the past few months. I have also had issues with UMR paying the portion leaving me to front the bill. Have never encountered a healthcare insurance issues as poor as this. Also after my last review was contacted by a UMR representative, when I reached out in response I never heard back from them.

They are an insurance provider for Medicaid Managed CarePlans and I don’t recommend going to them at all their social media person that you sometimes get can be rude and argue and make false statements. I’m glad I’m going to a better insurance next month.

My account was hacked and wiped out. This is by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing and they have refused unlock my account for a month. They put a provisional credit in the account but locked the account so I had no access to it. I have spent countless hours on the phone answering their security questions just to have them tell me that it is up to the fraud department to unlock the account. They are actively lying about their provider network. After logging into the system I searched for a number of services. They are all listed as "in-network". I then contacted these providers to arrange an appointment. After taking my information they went to their portal only for it to say "out of network". This happened on the same day within hours of searching. UHG is actively lying about its member network to patients. Somehow I have been added their mailing list. I have contacted the number provided asking to be removed. However they are asking for personal information such as DOB, SS and other information. I have never done business with them so there should not be any need for this. They state its HIPAA policies but that is only for records on patient information and has nothing to do with a mailing list. This company stonewalls in the face of even minimal customer issues and will not provide adequate records to resolve disputes. This company does not train representatives adequately to handle phone calls, and is not able to verify anything relating to previous communications, so seems to keep no records of customer interaction.
