Is this fraudulent behavior? I was injured abroad, paid for it out of pocket and am trying to get reimbursed by my health insurance. After EIGHT phone calls and assurances that the claim is being processed within 30 days...it's 2 months later and I'm still tracking down the reimbursement. I've been given a different story every one of the eight times I've called regarding the status of my claim. This is beginning to look like fraud and it appears they're giving me the runaround to avoid paying.

If the VA sets you up through this place I would refuse and ask for a in house exam. This is a bad deal for veterans to have to go through a doctor contracted by this place. Again even if it takes longer request a in house C&P exam. Don't gamble with these guys and the doctors they contract.

This is the worst home health I have ever dealt with. The staff at the McAllen office are extremely unprofessional, unethical and lack office management skills. They have total disregard for patient rights. We are already ill at home and they are not willing to accommodate patient's selection on who performs their wound care. Contacted the SA office and same result. Spoke to RGV Director to no avail. Spoke to HCD Vice-president to no avail as well. Terrible experience. My rep Robert ****** totally misrepresented the Medicare supplement and dental packages her set me up with. Medicare turned out to be $200 more per month then he quoted. Dental was started before I approved and I ended up paying for my existing dental policy in addition to the one he set me up with. To top it off the benefits for the policy he set me up with was totally misrepresented. Even worse is cancelling these policies has been a nightmare. 3-4 hours of my time and still working it. 5/7/19 husband's (Richard) doctor sent e-script for 3 meds to United Healthcare (Optum RX). We have repeatedly asked this company to NOT keep our debit card or credit card numbers on file. We either give them a a card to charge when we call in our prescriptions renewed or we call 1-2 days later with card info. if our doctor e-scripts the prescription. On 5/9/19 our debit card which is attached to our checking account was charged $174.12. We called on 5/9 to have Optum RX credit back our debit card and charge our credit card ... read more

Optum rx is the most useless company in existence. United health care is awesome their mail order company blows. They do everything in their power to Not help you. Even when united health calls them saying hey this script is covered by their plan they respond by saying no its not covered. They must get paid commission to deny prescriptions or something. If you have to use this service be prepared to lose your mind, be confused and wonder why your Healthcare costs so much paying for this garbage.

I purchase a short term insurance policy for three months beginning January 1, 2019 and ending April 1, 2019. I also purchased three riders. On April 3, I was charged for a fourth month for all the policies again, even though the insurance had ended. I contacted customer service and was told that I was charged because the policy did not end until April 2 so I had to pay for April. Despite my dissatisfaction with the charge, I paid it. I had temporary insurance that I had cancelled completely in November 2018, which I am still being billed for. Every month I call United Health One to make sure everything was cancelled last year and every month they tell me I should not receive additional charges and any charges since I cancelled last year will be refunded. The charges have not been refunded. This issue has been ongoing for 6 months and it is unacceptable. Optum HSA/FSA/benefit administration company is a Ponzi scheme at best … at worst, PHI/PII thieves. My employer uses them as a benefits administrator and they have denied numerous claims, and when documents are uploaded to their website, my account was summarily locked and I have been unable to log back into my online account despite multiple requests to reset password. Also, employees state they there was never anything uploaded to their online portal, which has happened to several other coworkers as well. Claims are denied... read more
