The maternity and NICU nurses are amazing!
I have been to this hospital many times including 4 deliveries! I had outstanding care! My doctors were all fantastic! Never had a bad experience! I drive over an hr to see my doctor in Shrewsbury!
The picu unit is the best but my grandson needs Rehab and the case manager has done nothing but lie 4 day's in a row he was supposed to be moved and we are still here they won't transfer him closer to home so he can see his friends he's laying here just wasting away NEVER WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
I have been very pleased with all the services my family and I received and receive from UMass Memorial Hospital. I have spent several days, hours and weeks throughout the past 25 years with my mom and step-father here, but mostly the past 12 years with this hospital and I would always return my loved ones here. The staff and care were almost always very professional with only one exception. That is quite a record in my book! God bless those who heal and especially the sick.
With what I have heard lately, this would be the last place I would go for medical care.
You get a D-. And that's being generous. 3+ hours and my wife and child have finally been seen by a doctor @ the ER. Perhaps we'll try St. Vincent the next time. Nothing like enduring agony for a child. Or is this a VA Hospital?
Good place to have when we need fixing that can't be done at our local hospital!
How nice that you have aids in the step down unit who are telling bedridden cardiac patients that they are mean and demanding. Let me strap them to a bed and make them think about their impending death and see how sweet they are.
