We came from Western NY to meet with Dr. Schanzer in Vasuclar Surger and Dr. Carlson from Cardiology. From the first phone call to arrange the appointments, to the moment we left the building, we were treated exceptionally well. Everyone we encountered, from the valet staff, to the information desks, the receptionists and all of the clinical staff were nothing but pleasant, accommodating and made us feel that they were there for us, that we weren't just another patient. The workers are not friendly. People who are there are sick and don't feel good. Last thing they want is people being rude to them.
Been using UMMC for the past 39 years. I guess that says something.......
While i have had many experiences for health reasons I can honestly say all but only 1(but I wouldn't bad mouth the person out of respect - life is too short), have been 5☆ thank you to all Umass staff, doctors, nurses, cna, secretary, hosts, volunteers and many more!
Great care nurses and staff very nice never had to call for anything
The nurses and doctors are wonderful. Dr. Walker is an incredible surgeon. My father was taken to the ER with a heart attack and then had to have a quadruple bypass a few days later. He is doing great and it's all thanks to everyone who works at UMass. Thank you to all for the wonderful care you have given him, I couldn't be more grateful.
