So this is what they do. 1. They advertise a higher price for you to pay for getting a supposed "free gift" 2. They dont explain that the "free gift" is out of stock UNTILL you order. 3. Then you are stuck paying the higher price and never get the free gift 4. when presented to customer service they lied and said this would fall off in 3-5 days 5. I was a loyal, long-time buyer from this place over the other big makeup store. When shopping on black Friday for Christmas presents, I accidentally ordered a package (which entails 2 50% OFF fragrances and some makeup items) to my previous address (it was saved in the app and I guess I never changed it since I shop in store), and I currently live in a different state. I purchased an Ulta gift card from the ******* store on 8/24/2023 for $150.00 for my sister's retirement and mailed it to her in ******** ****. (insured). When she attempted to use it, the saleslady at the Ulta store near her, scratched off the substance to reveal the *** # . Ulta scams people. I have a credit card that I spend a lot of money on and I saved my points to use on Black Friday and Ulta took the points and told me now I have to wait 42 days for my points and I cant get the items and wont honor the sale. They did this twice in a row on Black Friday. They are scamming people

I placed an order via Ulta.com that was split into 2 shipments, one to arrive via *** and the other to arrive via **** after being transported by ****** I received the *** package without incident, but the package that should have arrived from the **** was delivered by *****. When I retrieved the box, it had been re-taped and none of the products were in it, but all of the paperwork was present. TERRIBLE customer service in the ********* Consumes ** location. I asked how much a product was and response was - I have no idea? Go to front and ask cashier. I asked for help in cosmetics and was told she really didnt know much and she was on a phone call (appeared personal) and said shed try to get to me when she had time Really? This was my 4-5th time in that store and each time was awful. Took product in store to return. Have no information on file, have receipt, returning 4 days after purchase. Was told I needed a phone number to return. I stated this is not what back of receipt states or the ulta return policy states on their website. I started video footage and made manager aware of this. Manager literally walked off to escape to the back of store and refused to help me. I was not rude, demeaning in any way I stayed very calm. After weeks of several phone calls to CS and several virtual texts, no resolution. I made a purchase online with my reward points. They auto canceled my order. Still to this day they have not credited back my rewards points I used toward the online purchase. I asked several times for a higher level of leadership to assist. I asked **** 5 times in a hour and 15 mins for contact number. I call, ***** tells me no one available and no time frame when I would get a call back after 45 mins. Ulta is in violation of customer rights per the "customers right to delete information" from their account as stated on their very own website. They no longer allow customers to delete credit card information which automatically is saved to the customer account when a purchase is made. The customer does not have a choice as to whether or not their information is saved and customer service will not delete it when requested.
