I dropped off my two **** laptop to get repair on April 15. It been over a week now with no calls or updates. I call the store in Matteson Il to see whats going on with the **** laptops. The guy who answered the phone had a very nasty attuide. He said they couldnt repair it because it was pre existing damage. Dropped off laptop to get hinge fixed on December 21,2021. Was told early January that a new battery was needed. Ok. End of January, they broke my motherboard and had to get a new one. Now, Feb 22 2022, was told they are replacing my system. What?? I DO NOT recommend this place for anything other than losing money, time, and gaining a headache. Go elsewhere. If the system allows it, I would give it Zero stars. On 07/13/2021, I went to the store on Manchester road to fix my broken iPhone 8. Later when I picked it up, I was told for an unknown reason the Home button not working anymore (It was working when I gave it to them) and the edge of the screen is not sealed very well( they said it was possible because the iPhone was bent), so the guy offered me a free charge of the service. I took my laptop in to be fixed. They told me it would take 1 week to repair. After 1 month they told me I needed to buy an external hard drive to back up my data before my computer could be fixed. I bought one and gave it to the manager. It took several months for me to get my computer back but the external hard drive wasn't with my computer. I asked for it but they couldn't find it. This business does not deserve any star rating. My computer required repair, so I contacted UBIF in Sioux City, Iowa. The owner told me to bring the computer to him on January 3rd. I did as instructed and was given a text that I would be kept informed about my repair. I received no texts or calls from the business. As an insurance company for computers, phones or tablets it falls short on delivering service.
A Technician came out today. My Husband opened the front door our dogs got excited and ran out. Our male puppy was barking but was not attacking. Before my Husband could even call the puppy to go back inside the technician kicked our puppy as hard as he could in the face. The Technician was in no danger, my Husband was standing right there. The service techs at UBreakIFix on Eldorado Pkwy in McKinney, TX are great. They have been very nice and helpful both times we have visited. They were able to recommend a time window as to what would be the quickest turn around for us would be.
