Zero stars. I went in for a repair and they signed me up for some insurance plan without my knowledge or consent. Jason R said I'd need to make a $25 deposit toward my phone's repair,then used my card to sign me up for some plan. The receipt he gave me showed a $0 charge. Spent 3 weeks going back and forth with this place due to miscommunication and misinformation, that I could deal with and due to the character limit not going to waste it on a small issue, below is the issue that is causing me to leave this review: I dropped off my phone, come back 4 hours later and the screen is fixed. So I don't see the customer in our system by that name, but sometimes with insurance claims it is under a different name. But my tech **** does remember the interaction and He said he explicitly asked her to come back so we could take a look at it and change network settings but she never came back. With insurance claims if something isn't working when we do the test, that is required and no way we can complete repair if any fail, we have to send in for replacement. Not a reputable business. I took my iPad in for a cracked screen repair and after a week they notified me it would take sometime to repair because they needed their headquarters to fix it. Then they changed their story and said they in fact could fix it in store. It has now been over 3 months and I've been told several time in-store they can not get my iPad to me: "come back tomorrow." They (Asurion Appliance Division in San Diego) cancelled on me twice with no warning! I scheduled them to repair my water dispenser on my refrigerator. The day of the appointment, I got a text and email notice that they were cancelling and re-scheduling for the next week, 7 days later. The day of the next appt., a technician called my cell and said he wanted to come early. I said OK and came home for the appt. this company started out ok they are always nice and cordial. The first claim took them over a month to fix and return, further damage was caused and I ended up getting a new device. The second claim took 3 attempts to repair and it lasted for a while after the 3rd send off. A third claim they didn't accept they don't repair those anymore. uBreakIFix (********, **) is not an honest business. This store charged my ****** to fix my phone screen but ended up doing nothing. The screen they placed on my phone was an AFTER MARKET product which does not work well on an IPhone. My screen went black a few hours after the 'NEW SCREEN' was placed. The Bloomington ubreakifix is incompetent. I was told it would take 3 hrs at most to fix my screen. After almost 5hrs i had to yell at the person to get them to even try fixing my phone instead of standing in front of me giving me excuses for why it wasn't ready

Made a claim on may 30th for broken screen. Went into device repair facility on May 31st. The service tech said she couldn't repair screen due to not being able to see full screen and run a series of test required by assurion. Yet phone was still usable.. Time wasted there, what is the point in having screen protection. Instantly called assurion customer service. Sat on hold for 15min.
