I had a terrible experience with the 'manager' Ryan at UBreakiFix; 16950 Wright Plaza Suite 101 that your company sent to repair my phone. He refused to even answer my calls, I would be placed on hold, his staff would speak to him, then come back to tell me he wasn't available and he could call me back in a week. I do not want to play the race card, but this place is towing the line. Worse customer service I've ever experienced in my life. XXXXXX - I got what they call Black Screen. Staff was kind. But they didn't ask if we had the Asurion Insurance, even though they are an Franchise owned by Asurion. I did and within one hour of phone repair it was realized. BUT I AM OUT ALL THE MONEY as their staff hands are tied, they can't do anything on their end. (I actually qualified for a replacement with the insurance I've been paying for for YEARS! Update...I did reach out for two reasons. The new replacement screen/battery were bad, so had to go back and get that resolved. When speaking with store staff again, they don't know why the Business Comment Replay was to give them a call at my convenience to get a different resolution...but NOT TRUE. Staff/Management's hands are still tied and not able to refund the money or even call Asurion on my behalf. I went to their Lower East Side shop to have a battery change for my cell phone. I was quoted $130 for the total work. To me the price a little high for just swapping out the old battery with a new one, so I just walked out. I've done my homework and I know the battery itself retails around $25. Also while I was there they wanted to charge another customer $25 for a glass protective screen for his iPhone. I went around the corner to another shop and they charged me $65 for the same repair.
Took my fully functioning phone with a minor crack in the side to uBreakIFix at 1071 West Broad Street, Falls Church, VA 22046. I went to pickup the phone but it wasn't ready. After many unanswered calls, when we went to pickup the phone 2 days later, the guy says he tried to fix the screen but he thinks the motherboard is dead. I had a new program added on my laptop and while that seemed to take care of my original problem my laptop was returned to me with a new problem. They screwed up the configuration of the mouse and gave me the run around about fixing it. They still have not fixed it and it makes getting business on computer really hard to do. I scheduled an appointment online like I was prompted to by the website. I was under the impression that the repair would be 150 or less. I asked customer service for a quote and was told it would be "fair priced" and I inquired further and was still left with the same impression. The customer service line was terrible and constantly made vague comments and avoided solving my issue. I was on hold several times, sometimes 10-12 minutes at a time.
