I have been unsuccessfully trying to reach the owner of the ubreakifix shop located at 10260 Baltimore Avenue College Park MD. Today, my daughter, a customer at the store, was physically attacked by one of the store's employees, Shaid S****. The police were called and the male employee who attacked my daughter is facing charges (we have video of the assault). Have been without my oven for over a month. 3 times a repair man was suppose to come out and 3 times they were a no call no show. Would not recommend this company to anyone

This shop is very poorly run with no regards to satisfying the customer. The employees are disorganized and do not communicate with one another. They make promises to the customer that they don't keep. They made an error when replacing the screen to my iPad which led to failed functioning (it shuts down every 5 mins even when fully charged). They have had my iPad for a week and keep giving me different answers about how they are going to correct their mistake. They promise to call and never do. I dropped my phone in water and from their website, it indicates that they do water damage repair, but that I had to book an appointment online vs walking in. They didn't have any more appointments for the next day, so I had to wait to bring it in. Or so I thought. I arrived during my appointment time 2 days later, but had to wait because someone had "dropped in" to bring their phone in for repair. I had an IPad pro which was functional but drained battery quickly(a full charge lasts one hour only). So I brought it to the place to change the battery. After I reset the IPad, I showed the rep that it was functional. Only after I went to home to check track # online, I noticed the rep put a note "Besides a lot of cosmetic dirtiness and a little damage to the top left and bottom right corners of the frame, the device is functional according to customer besides the battery draining quickly." Horrible. Slow to repair. *** waited 10 days so far with little to no communication. Sold me an insurance plan claiming it will cover the repair. No, it covers after 31 days, and cannot cover the repair since it is pre existing problem.Do NOT use this store.

While at work I happen to forget my tablet on the back of my truck. As luck would have it I drove away. It fell on the road and got ran over by a car. By using the tracking app I was able to find my tablet. Now sitting there in the middle of my workday with my iPad broke and I decided to take it to you break it we fix it to see if it could be repaired. Just had a bad experience at Bellevue Washington's uBreakiFix (uBreakiFix.com) location. I had them remove a jammed-sim card from a secondary cell phone I have, in absence of prior warning that I would have to provide them with a passcode. They held the phone hostage until I provided them with my passcode. This is be analogous to having the local Grease Monkey shop require your social security number after changing the oil. My daughter cracked her screen and was told by Verizon to go get it fixed by this company on Cortez and she could turn in the phone for a new one. We made an appointment and she drove 25 minutes to get there and be told they don't have her screen in stock. They called her a few days later and said it was in and she drove back and was told again it was the wrong one. You are absolutely delusional.... Either you cannot comprehend what I am saying or you don't bother reading the complaint. I no longer have insurance on the device since we got a new phone. You tried to repair something that was not brought in for repair. It was the screen that needed to be fixed. I rather pay my attorney to get involved because you are not taking responsibility for your employees error. I give him the authority to take over this matter with you guys.
