The company customer service is awful I spoke with a manager ****** and she advised me to go get my pregnant wife although a duplicate license was provided they seek to find no solution

I rented a U-haul truck and bought the extra insurance just in case anything happened. The truck would not start and it was packed with my appliances including my fridge that was full of food. The service came out and could not fix it because it was a fuel pump issue. This was around 10:30 at night. They towed the truck to my new location and arrived at approximately 2:30 in the morning. U-haul is not a business that does good for the people. I feel that they did not explain things. In a way where you can understand it. I'm pretty much I feel that was ripped off. The managers didn't wanna do anything to help me. Customer service was poor.

Horrible service and very dangerous. I rented a U-haul truck for a one way trip, to pick it from one location and drop at another. I picked up a location in **** as a normal Uhaul rental station with their office. I am not from **** so I flew there. Upon landing and while at airport they texted me saying my pick up location was now different. I had to spend more money on Uber for a far location. I was forced to go to two separate locations to pick up a truck. Upon arriving, an agent told me my completely valid license was expired, then cancelled the chat. I tried again, and she said they didnt accept photos of licenses, only physical copies. Okay, fine we made a new reservation in my friends name and went to the location they sent him. Vehicles are very poorly maintained, I don't consider the road worthy. I think they need to have annual DOT inspections so they are forced to repair them. Below is a copy of my review to them after renting a 26 footer. The truck we used is in need of major repairs. The brakes were screeching really bad. It needs a tune up severely. My wife and I were originally supposed to pick our truck up at U-Haul Storage ********** Lake. About two days before pick-up, we were contacted by phone and informed that the pick-up location was moved to an authorized dealer, called Dealers Choice on ***** Road. My property was stolen from Unit G-128 at the 40th St storage in **********, **. Its been over a year since I filed a police report and claim with Rep **** ********** as instructed to do by the manager at the time. U-Haul, according to the ********** ****************** has refused to cooperate or turn over video surveillance regarding the incident. They are on the 3rd different manager since the theft. I rented a truck for my move. The day before picking up my truck they offered me a 10% discount to drive an extra 30 miles to pick up my truck. When I arrived they only had the truck with no Dollys. Then they told me I would need to drive another 37 miles to get the dollys. After I was offered $50 for the trouble. This is a joke and done if the worst customer service Ive ever had to deal with. I will never use UHaul again.
