My entire U-Box experience and move has been marred by the organizational incompetence of U-Haul and a lack of accountability between departments. I made a move to ** from ********** to start my first position in my career. The expected shipment date was 8-9 with movers hired for the 10th. I called on both the 7th and 8th to speak to separate associates to confirm that indeed my shipment was on the way, and they both said yes. I got Hitch and wiring installed and this is how bad it is. No response from the manager at ******* yet.1. I told them on phone this is 2014 SQ5 yet they ordered a hitch for 2013 and screwed it up.2. ********* said he has to drill holes in the hitch to install, I check online this is 100% wrong. I am worried about where he will drill the holes.3. Bumper is 100% mis-aligned, attached images and video. Emailed the support yet no response.4. Wiring is hanging loose, seems 100% wrong here.5. We rented a trailer online; and somehow an order for "Moving Supplies for a 20' truck" was entered. When I contacted Uhaul, they said the order form is automatically populated as a CONVENIENCE, and the customer must check the box "NO, I do not need these supplies, or the order is created. They gave me the option of returning the items, but I explained they were delivered to our old address, and we now live 600 miles away. They stood by their policy of creating the order for supplies. I wish I could give them zero stars....I rented a truck from them to go to ************ ** when we got there the drop off location in ************ ** was closer so we called the number on the paper that they gave ** and ask them if it was ok to drop it off there, they told ** yes it was ,when got to the drop off location in ************ we called them again and ask the lady again "are you sure it is ok to drop it off at said location" she replied yes as long as you let us ( uhaul) know the location...now UHAUL STOLE 300$ OUT... read more

If I could give U-Haul negative stars, I would. DO NOT use their UBox pod service if youre planning a cross country move. We moved from MO to MA & no one knows where our pods are. U-Haul corporate says they reached our destination one day late, but theyre not here. Our local U-Haul says they cant even accommodate a trailer so theyre not here. We dont have clothes, beds, desks. Were missing work & sleeping on air mattresses. And zero answers from *************************** are out $3018 & all our stuff. What I DO have is no ... read more

The *********** **. Uhaul employee had her 5 year old son running around the business. She asked him to lock the doors due to it being close to closing time. The employee didn't go over no paperwork with me and with getting a truck and a car trailer going one way She failed to explain how to put the straps on the tires which she connected the straps wrong and they kept coming lose and the straps got tangled to the point we couldn't get them undone. I reserved a uhaul for a move 30 days in advance. They moved the pickup location once but kept the reservation and made no changes. Two businesses days before the move they called and told me that they could not honor the two days that I reserved and could only have it for one day due to fact that the area was very busy. A reservation is a reservation and they should keep it without change if they accept it. What if I didnt pay part of the bill because I dont have enough money. Poor management. Terrible and frustrating experience. The location wouldn't honor the written quote I showed them, and sent me away empty handed when I told them that I would file a claim for the extra.Quoted price: $426 Price they tried to charge: $570 Price eventually paid at a different location and after much grief: $330 WTF? Is that any way to run a business?

This uhaul *****. Does not allow one way rentals. Only round trip. So must return it back to there site. Thats blows. Not how uhaul supposed to be. At the uhaul off **** w international speedway in ************ flordia
