Poor Quality Fish – My Yellow Fin Tuna was sinewy and my date's Swordfish was overcooked. Also, we had to wait to be seated, despite having reservations, then drinks at the bar were Manhatten prices and poured weak.
Better than expected! – I really loved this place! I read all the negative reviews posted here, but for my family and I, it was wonderful. We made reservations on OpenTable.com, and when we arrived, we did have to wait about 20 minutes, but when we were seated, we got a great booth! User review by billysquirelicker – We came from South Carolina and were expecting a casual dining experience. We were wrong, but pleasantly surprised. This place is very hip and the food was great. I had the prime rib and the carrot cake, I highly recommend it. The place is beautiful and you're constantly amazed you're in the South. Great job!
Good times – Great Drinks! My boyfriend ordered the brisket and it was heavenly. My duck was a little on the tough side, but perfectly palatable. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is excellent.
Believe the hype – Two was a total package - great setting, great view, great service and great food. The restaurant is trendy and beautiful. The food is well priced and excellent. Try the braised beef and have the carrot cake for desert...simply amazing.
Not my first choice – Our company had a dinner here and we had family style appetizers which we paid person, but each table did not receive enough for each person to have one. We were told that we could only have our table for 2 1/2 hours and then we would have to leave for another party that was coming in and if we didn't we will would be charge an additional amount. Not very group friendly and the portion were extremely small for the amount of money we paid.
what a fabulous evening! – Two is a hidden treasure. You drive into a non- discript warehouse which only adds to the surprise when you walk in the door... then, wow! Its elegant, its funky, its casual, its fancy. The view of the city skyline encompases the entire glass wall in the back of the restaurant and the food is comforting, new, and portions are filling. Horribly slow and rude bartenders – A friend took me to Two Urban Licks so we could test it out, since she wanted to throw a party there. Well that party will never happen at this place. We sat at the bar and thought we would test a few of the barrel wines and the appetizers. Getting the 2 bartenders attention was exhausting.. when at most there were about 5 other people at the bar! would rather go to the Varsity – the owner of two urban licks missed out on a big part of running a restaurant, which begins with good managers. my family and i were recently celebrating a birthday at this place, which was a mistake. after slow service, overlooked drink orders, and total choas, we had a major discrepancy with the total bill cost. we had two managers at our table trying to discuss this matter which was useless because no one could hear each other anyway. we pointed out where the bills were incorrect, the mana... read more
