Great place, great time, great food – We visited this restaurant Saturday November 7th. My husband and I had never been but brought friends who have been many times and couldn't wait to go again. We started with the calamari, shrimp taco and the tuna tatar. All were great but by far the calamari was the best. Next we had the prime rib (more like a half a cow), large portions that melted in your mouth. My friend was also raving about the macorini and cheese and I thought well ok, it was one of the best I have every had. We al... read more

Good food but poor service – The interior is beautiful. The Salmon Chips are the signature item and are extraordinary. I usually sit at the bar, but find that the bartenders would rather talk amongst themselves. Being in the Industry, I find it to be counterproductive. Even after multiple visits it did not improve. The food is very good but there are plenty of choices in Atlanta.

loud fun atmosphere – Saturday night i took my husband out for his B-day as a suprise &wow he was really suprised. The waiter was honest on selections ,the food was great ,we had the Oysters and grits. For his b-day they gave him a birthday card and dessert was on them, the staff all signed his card and the chef wrote Happy b-day on his plate with some type of chocalate syrup. I loved the whole dim lighting with candlies the band was really cool. Mixed crowd of all ages and so forth. I would go again. It was a different exper... read more

Too Urban Licks – This restaurant looks much better at night. We arrived when it was still light outside, and the place looked and felt like a cafeteria. The floor is black and looks wet and dirty when the light from the windows hits it. As it gets darker, the indoor lighting softens the ambience. This restaurant needs some white noise. With all the hard surfaces, it is very loud; and to make matters worse, some of the tables are very close to one another. Therefore, when I spoke loud enough for my friend to hear me across t... read more

Incredible Food & Service – We had the BEST meal! Everything we ordered was fabulous from the Tamale appetizer to the pork shoulder with mac & cheese for an entree. The waitress was great and gave my sister cupcakes and ice cream for free for her birthday. I would definitely recommend and will definitely go back!!

Two Urban Licks is the best... – This is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta! Perfect for a girls night out or couples- either way, you will not be disappointed! Wonderful food, great service, beautiful skyline view of the city, and such a gorgeous building/design concept with an urban edge. My last visit was this past Friday and the entire experience was incredible. Be sure to try the scallops and tuna tartare- both are amazing and the prices are very reasonable! The bar is also great because of the live music and ambience- n... read more

Trying to be – Wow, Talk about a restaurant trying to be something it?s not. Let me tell you, just because it?s extremely difficult to find does not make it exclusive. Once you find it you are hijacked for your car by the Valet. NO OPTION. You can park about 400 yards away on the street. That is low class to not offer an option to self-park anywhere near the restaurant. I don?t care if they claim the valet is complementary. It?s not payment of the service, it?s the b.s. of the service itself. Just let me park my own car. I a... read more

Cool atmostphere, ok food – My husband and I took advantage of date night to go to a 'cool' restaurant for dinner. Weekday night, so it wasn't crowded and there wasn't music, but it was still very loud. I chose to sit at the chef's table, which was quite fun as you can watch the chefs prepare yours and everyone else's dinner. I loved the concept of the kegged wine and the list is extensive. The menu was very seafood heavy which I wasn't expecting. I ended up just getting the Rocket salad which was great, and the ahi tun app ... read more

One of Atlanta's best restaurants – My friend and I had a great experience on a Friday night at this restaurant. The valet parking was fast and easy. Once inside we were seated almost immediately. Our waiter was helpful with answers as to how the food was prepared, ingredients used and seemed earnest when he said he had not personally tasted a couple of the dishes we asked about. The food was very good as well. I will certainly go back to Two Urban Licks again and again.
