Very Loud, Noisy...Not a good "Date" choice. – after hearing alot of Good and Bad things about Two Urban Licks, I decided to jump at the opportunity to meet some friends for Dinner. While the set-up is very nice...you literally have to scream as you conversate w/ the your party. I'm not sure what causes this, but I definitely do not like restaurants in which everything is Loud and Noisy. It was very difficult to hear each other at the table due to the surrounding noise. very different – Went here with a group of friends for my 23rd Birthday... Had a blast the valet parking was very nice and the food was excellent. i had the shrimp tacos and duck which came with sweet potatoes, the drink menu is great as well. The resaurant is dim lighted which is very romantic, and the view of the city is to die for. Can not wait to go again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great for romantic / group dining – Two came very highly recommended by several friends, so my wife and I checked it out for Valentine's Day (actually the night before to avoid the crowd). The covered complimentary valet was great, and I loved the industrial setting. We had the salmon chip appetizers, duck and snapper, and finished it off with the banana split dessert. Loved it - Again! – My husband and I went for his 30th birthday in June and it was love at first bite - of the calamari appetizer. That was just the perfect beginning to a great meal. We went this past weekend for my birthday, and again it was phenomenal. My husband had the succulent braised pork with creamed greens, and I had the bronzed scallops with gouda grits. Cool place, small portions – Love the entrance to the building...you feel like you are entering a secret hide-away. Very cool vibe inside, but I would say the food is fair to good at best. I've had better meals...but I have still gone back here several times, simply because the atmosphere is so unique. So...I gues it can't be that bad!
