I made an attempt to set up a lunch for 220 for December by visiting the hotel recently. Although I was able to find a someone to show me the venue spaces, it was difficult to actually meet a catering staff. Finally met Travis - complex director for catering. He never provided a bid proposal. No follow-up, no interest in providing catering services. EDIT 3-7-17: I left this review on their Trip Advisor page as well. One of my favorite places to visit in Galveston– Splendid food– Excellent service– A great destination!
Comfortable bed, clean rooms and great service. The rooftop bar is great!
The service is fabulous! There is nothing to not love about this gorgeous hotel.
Fantastic bar. Woodwork is beautiful. Bartenders great. Combo fantastic. Great place to unwind or get started
Lovely hotel. We went there however, for their jazz in the lobby on Saturday night. There was a trio performing. The piano player was awesome, but the guitar player was continuously talking, telling stories basically to the trombone player, while we sat around waiting for another tune.

Beautiful.... stunning.... � Historically speaking, its one of those special Galveston places!!
Did not lodge here this time...only attended the Lobby Bar and lobby area. Very bright and sophisticated environment ..good drinks and bar snacks cheerfully given. Stayed there in the past....a classy elegant hotel which is a throwback to yesterday's class & elegance.
