BEWARE of staying at The Tremont House, a Wyndham Grand Hotel in Galveston Texas. I'd also be leery of their sister hotel: Hotel Gálvez: especially if they use the same valet company! I arrived at The Tremont House on Sunday January 31, 2016 at 4 pm after booking my room through HotelTonight. The hotel requires you to valet your car and has no self parking option. Awesome place, was knotted here. Didn't know it was Mardi Gratis weekend great views easy walking to Straid Perfect weekday and weekend time. Staff fabulous.
Alex and I visit the Tremont House several times each year. We really enjoy being there. Elegant facility. Exemplary service team from reasonable cost to valet service to check-in to restaurant to room service. We really love it.

The Tremont House is an exceptionally grand historic hotel with magnetic charm and ambience. Our week's stay was fabulous for the greater part. Unfortunately, the thrice a year tea did not meet the grandeur of the posted pictures and description online. My friend came all the way from England to have a proper tea with me.
