A great place and a great price just not happy with the placement of my wife's and I's room next to the elevators on the 3rd floor. Have not gotten a wink of sleep.

We showed up at the Tremont as our friends were headed over to Rudy & Pacos for dinner, knowing it would only take. few minutes to check in. We handed the front desk our ID's and credit card and after a moment, they informed us we were not in the system and did not have a reservation. The room had been booked on one of those "bidding sites" and we did not have a reservation for a room. Outstanding service.
A beautiful place to stay in Galveston! High ceilings, European decor and walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants! The friendly staff made the stay even better and the free shuttle to the beach!
A great place to stay. Right on the strain. Star Bucks in the cafe. Rooms was roomy and clean.
First time here!!! I will be back
