Great experience at this old grand hotel. First class service, hospitality outstanding, and wait staff excellent. Check in and check out very easy. Room was awesome and takes you back in time. Recommend highly. ******
Had an excellent experience at The Tremont Hotel with the family! The staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. The jazz trio in the lobby gave the place a very upscale ambiance. My children were most impressed with the room service (MONSTER brownies with ice cream!) and the fact that their online research said that it was haunted. The beds are too soft ,and what's up with all feather pillows ?
My daughters and I went this weekend and we definitely love it and we are thinking to come back soon to Galveston and of course we are going to stay The Tremont House. <3
Love this historical hotel. Lose to the Seawall and accessible to food, entertainment.
My son (7) and I had the best visit! He swore we were royalty with the beautiful rooms and outstanding service. Loved our stay and will be back!

My daughter and I enjoyed a much needed mother/daughter getaway in Galveston this weekend. After shopping on the strand, we stopped in the lobby bar for a glass of wine before dinner. We ended up spending a couple of hours enjoying drinks, complimentary cheese and crackers and awesome jazz - lobby bar filled up quickly and it was a classy and friendly group of people. I've stayed at hotel before and love it. As we are now property owners in Galveston, we will make a point to come back again.
