I took a survey and was told to come to this page. I purchased a new tracfone from their website and went to my account in their website and requested to activate the new phone. 1st I requested that tracfone transfer my verizon phone number over to my new tracfone, thus deleting my verizon account and 2nd they transfer the remaining minutes over from my old tracfone to my new tracfone. I am at my wits end. I got a phone to save money. I will never try this again, not only did the phone not work once activated but I had to call back twice after activation. spent over an hour entering codes given to me and still no go. asked to speak to a supervisor and once he came on the line I said that I was getting really frigging frustrated and he told me that he would not deal with me cursing at him and to call back when I would not be cursing. what the hell? The website has gone to hell and has so many problems they just won't do anything about. It really seems like TF has become a scam company and little else.
I am trying to bring a phone over via the BYOP program - I checked that it was compatible and Tracphone even says it is compatible. I have spent 7 hours(7 reps) on the phone and chat - 4 tickets - 4 reps hung up or ended the chat. They cannot get the phone activated. I have had 3 sim cards - told by one that I do not need a sim card. I have been very polite and they have tried a few things, but this should not be this hard. I have been a customer for about 3 years, but this is a fiasco. I am very very disappointed.
I tried to use my phone tonight and was told I didn't have any money on it. I am not on a plan but I buy minutes. I just bought minutes about two weeks ago and have at least 3000 min. My time is not up until Nov. I have had nothing but trouble the last couple of months with Tracfone. I thought this was a good company I have had Tracfone for years.
My new phone broke its sim card, they replaced it, but refused to credit me the lost days of service. What moneygrubbers they are
Worst customer service EVER!! Waited on hold for 40 minutes, to get some idiot on the phone, she was absolutely no help. I asked to speak to supervisor, was put on hold for another 20 minutes, until I GAVE UP!!
I'm not going into all the problems I've had because it's all been said over and over and over and over and over again. Same as all the others. For years have been satisfied. Last few not at all. Looks like I might be getting myself a lawyer. That's how pissed I am at this point.
I will never buy a tracfone again! I am 64 and my Samsung did not work well at my home, I missed calls or would drop calls. So I purchased a new Android ZTE hoping it would work better NOT only did it work worse but now I find out I am unable to get my minutes put back to my other phone.
