Torchy's Tacos started in 2006 with a mobile trailer, a little red Vespa, and a man with a passion for good food. The founder, Mike Rypka, left an executive chef position to chase his dreams by investing everything he had into Torchy's Tacos. With a new, experimental menu ready to serve but no mouths to feed, Rypka jumped on his Vespa and started throwing out samples in an attempt to draw customers to his trailer. Loved it. Huge portions and awesome sodas.... Great location.....
Nachos and queso are delicious, tacos are great but pricey, overall great place to hang out and enjoy good food. My daughter and I go a couple times a week after school.

The tacos � were delish, it was my first time a friend took me, we drove from 290 area to the heights to have these tacos and might I add it was well worth it.
Their Chips and Queso are amazing! One of my favorite parts about going to any of their locations. If it's busy, be forewarned that parking can be a bit tricky, but despite the rush, there still seemed to be plenty of seating available. One of my favorite taco places in H-Town!

Me and my brother loved it. Food was hot. The chips were perfect. The price was just perfect for the size of the meals. I would say they need a bigger parking lot though. But other than that everything was excellent there..

Wow, my first visit to a different way of serving tacos FaBO experience friendly service helpful bartenders. My tacos were Fresh and burrito superb quality.

Not sure what all the fuss is about. Over cooked, burnt, dry chicken on a cold, store bought tortilla. I've had better tacos at Stripes gas station. I may try it again, everyone has an off day, but I won't drive out of my way to go back. Very disappointing.
