Torchy's Tacos started in 2006 with a mobile trailer, a little red Vespa, and a man with a passion for good food. The founder, Mike Rypka, left an executive chef position to chase his dreams by investing everything he had into Torchy's Tacos. With a new, experimental menu ready to serve but no mouths to feed, Rypka jumped on his Vespa and started throwing out samples in an attempt to draw customers to his trailer. Tacos are good, the margaritas suck
This place is an instant classic. Trailer park trashy taco is pure awesomeness! Fried chicken, chilies, cheese, and queso on flour. You will commonly see long lines around peak times, but it is definitely worth the wait!
Hubby and I love this place.....The fountain selection is amazing!
Love it! I frequent the one in the Heights since it is close to home. Staff is very friendly and food is great!
Best tacos in town and the Torchy Tini is delish!

Tacos are awesome.... not expensive, and the restaurant looks cool and a fun place to be to have lunch or dinner with friends
Poor customer service!
While visiting the Houston area recently, my son said "go try Torchy's". The best fusion taco's I ever had. Will return on next visit.
