Torchy's Tacos started in 2006 with a mobile trailer, a little red Vespa, and a man with a passion for good food. The founder, Mike Rypka, left an executive chef position to chase his dreams by investing everything he had into Torchy's Tacos. With a new, experimental menu ready to serve but no mouths to feed, Rypka jumped on his Vespa and started throwing out samples in an attempt to draw customers to his trailer. The service there sucks... had to ask the bartender to stop cleaning and make my margarita.. when we got our food... The tortillas were cold and hard I had to eat the inside with a fork I don't know if I'll go there again..

I loved the Baja shrimp taco, and my husband had the Republican and loved it too! Bloody Mary was delicious! Not such a fan of the portobello mushroom one tho. Queso was spicy but yummy! Ambiance and service were great!

This was the first time I've experienced anything less than stellar food at this location. I'm assuming weekends aren't the time for me to go there. Although I've seen it way more packed without issues during the week. Queso was lukewarm at best and the same with our tacos. I have to go off my normal eating plan and splurge to eat at Torchy's so it was even more disappointing for that reason. Really wasn't worth the cheat this time. Ordered 3 tacos to go for breakfast, it took 45 minutes. Asked for a manager, who was never told to talk to us, or just never came by. Absolutely terrible experience.
