Torchy's Tacos started in 2006 with a mobile trailer, a little red Vespa, and a man with a passion for good food. The founder, Mike Rypka, left an executive chef position to chase his dreams by investing everything he had into Torchy's Tacos. With a new, experimental menu ready to serve but no mouths to feed, Rypka jumped on his Vespa and started throwing out samples in an attempt to draw customers to his trailer. Been twice now and loving it!! Always a huge crowd, beef fajita and shrimp tacos trashy stylevis on point! Ordering online makes it simple to pick up and go. Will be going back

The tacos were delicious. The margaritas were excellent. I eat it again today.
I love this place. It's a Heights fixture. The food is always wonderful and the staff friendly and efficient. Must try is the Trailer Park trashy Hillbilly style.

The queso is the best I've ever tasted. The Matador from "the secret menu" is the most delicious taco I've tasted in Houston.
It's good. The tacos are creative and tasty. Parking can be tricky. The queso is delicious and unique it has cheese and quacamole mixed in. Maybe a little pricey two tacos and queso cost about 18.
