Torchy's Tacos started in 2006 with a mobile trailer, a little red Vespa, and a man with a passion for good food. The founder, Mike Rypka, left an executive chef position to chase his dreams by investing everything he had into Torchy's Tacos. With a new, experimental menu ready to serve but no mouths to feed, Rypka jumped on his Vespa and started throwing out samples in an attempt to draw customers to his trailer. I’ve never had shrimp tacos 🍤🌮 before, wow was it worth the wait. The tacos were delicious! Next time I’m in the downtown area, I would absolutely eat there again!!!
Wish so much ya all would come up north!!! Best tasting tacos, had a great visit... Staff was wonderful, food was wonderful, LIFE is wonderful...
Beef tacos were excellent. Queso was spicy, but good.
As always we had a great time! Enjoyed the cheese and guacamole!
Visiting from Germantown, TN (just outside of Memphis) and these were def the “Best damn Tacos”! Queso and chips were a hit! All ingredients were fresh and not greasy! Customer service was great and they told us all about the menu and history once they knew we were visiting from out of town!
I've never been to Torchy's , but my nephew use to work at one, and he'd bring us some food home sometimes, it's really good food.
