Torchy's Tacos started in 2006 with a mobile trailer, a little red Vespa, and a man with a passion for good food. The founder, Mike Rypka, left an executive chef position to chase his dreams by investing everything he had into Torchy's Tacos. With a new, experimental menu ready to serve but no mouths to feed, Rypka jumped on his Vespa and started throwing out samples in an attempt to draw customers to his trailer. Over priced and the tortillas tasted store bought.
They should rename it Hipster Tacos as that's the majority of the people I see there. Their flavor palate and portions are better than good but the price and atmosphere cut back the stars.
It's definitely text me and it's fairly quick. The prices are decent and the food was good. Above average tex mex. Now if you're looking for authentic mexican this is not the place. Oh their cheese dip was phenomenal! They have a bar too.

I've been eating Torchy's Tacos for 6 years and was really bummed out when we had to move back to Houston, but now it's right around the corner! The staff is so friendly and I have always had fantastic service there, even when they're packed!

Radical!
First time there tonight. My high heel boot met an inch and a half hole in front of the right register. Ouchie! Manager, Mike, was nice enough to ask if I was OK. However, I felt bad because he pointed out I was the only one to have my hell get caught in the 7 months they have been open there. - Queso was fantastic. Barbacoa a bit dry and NOT greasy. ): Good ritas on the rocks.
Da Bomb ways to eat tacos that i never scene and street corn was good to !!!!
I loved it!!! My favorite is the "Dirty" Trailer Park Taco!!!!! AWESOME!!!
