Dr. Atkinson explained thoroughly the type and extent of damage in need of repair on my right shoulder. His knowledge (and credentials) are impressive and I was able to be scheduled for surgery in a timely fashion. Surgery went well, physical therapy began next day. We were so impressed by Dr. Atkinson's professionalism and concern for our physical well-being. He was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and we knew we were in good hands. My husband needed very minimal surgery. The surgery was quick and painless. After two rounds of PT, he was healed quickly. Mine was from a very painful beak. Dr. Todd Atkinson performed my total hip replacement. He gave me my pain free life back!! I cannot thank him enough. Dr. Atkinson is very professional, knowledgeable, kind, well trained, educated and genuinely cares for his patients. Dr. Atkinson’s bedside manner is superior, which means so much. Dr. Atkinson is top notch, and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
Attention to my personal well being. Caring for me to understand my procedure and recovery regimen. It was a blessing to meet Dr. Atkinson and I'm very privileged to have him as my surgeon. Many prayers were answered by his diligence and care for my needed surgical treatment.
On the plus side: phone answered by a real person, appointments without long wait, Dr. adept at knee injection.On the negative side: doesn’t want to hear the whole story, physical exam minimal, yawned during visit, ignored traumatic onset of symptoms, he was fixated on my pre-existent arthritis.I subsequently got a second opinion.
Had a total knee replacement in June 2024. I was bone on bone and every step hurt. Dr. Atkinson has given me my active life back. I would recommend him and his staff to everyone. His office staff are welcoming and the PT staff are the best. They help you feel comfortable and actually makes PT Enjoyable. (Sounds crazy but true)I always left feeling ready to continue my treatment.
Dr Atkinson did a great job on my shoulder surgery he was very kind and talked with us before and after surgery would highly recommend him.
No delays in getting an appointment and smooth process leading to the surgery. I appreciated having rehab at his office. The rehab staff was wonderful! They were always upbeat, positive attitudes, and very kind. I would highly recommend Dr Atkinson if you have any joint issues!
I recently had a shoulder operation performed by Dr. Atkinson and am so impressed by his skills, education and manner. He is thorough, answers every question and after the operation sat down with my husband to let him know how it went for me. This is very rare.
