I relocated here from the Midwest 6 months ago and when I came I had a bad hip and could hardly walk without excruciating pain. The office is run efficiently. I didn't have to wait weeks for an appointment. The office staff and the personnel in the surgery center were all professional and personable. My shoulder is still healing, but 5 months post surgery, I have complete range of motion and my strength is coming back. In fact, I'm back to playing softball and tennis on a limited basis. I couldn't be happier! He is referred to as 'The Shoulder Doctor' for a reason.

He explained clearly that while surgery would help, I wouldnot feel 20 years old again (I'm 84). I am very pleased with the resultand with his recommended PT, the shoulder is better EVERY DAY.

I had my left shoulder rotator cuff shoulder surgery done a few months ago with Dr. Todd Atkinson. He did an amazing job, his office was very courteous and they kept in touch with me to make sure I was doing good after surgery. He also did my right shoulder rotator cuff 13 years ago and I knew that he is the doctor that I will go back too and recommend him to my friends and family. Dr. Atkinson is very respectful and you can ask him any questions he will take the time to explain the procedure without any hesitation.

Everyone is caring and knowledeable. The Dr explains what he can do to help your situation. He is not a god. He is a very good Dr. I was very happy with the results of my rotator and right shoulder surgery. Keeping up with the PT is a must for success.

I'm so glad to have gone for a second opinion regarding my shoulder and I’m thrilled to have met Dr Atkinson. After months of being in pain, I had an MRI and x-rays and the orthopedic group that read my results said they couldn’t help me. I felt defeated and worried my active days were over. I had a terrific outcome from surgery with Dr. Atkinson who repaired a torn rotator cuff. My right arm was useless prior to the surgery but after some physical therapy with his staff I have full use of my arm and am pain free. He is a fine surgeon and his team of therapists are terrific. I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed!

Dr. Atkinson did my rotator cuff repair. He explained the procedure thoroughly prior to surgery, and gave me several options to try before I finally decided to proceed with surgery. Surgery went very well, and he personally came out and talked to my wife after the surgery to let her know the extent of the surgical repair. His PT staff and office staff are great. I would highly recommend him for any surgical needs.
