Terrible place to go for service. I changed my brakes myself and heard a noise and asked them to adjust it and grease it. They said no problem $35. bring it in the morning guy said it would be an inspection then he could do it. ok. He then tells me they can't get the drum off and it would take his guy 1 to 3 hours at $129 an hour just to remove the drum. I said no. I just took it off. Predatory is the best word I can find to describe how this tire store operates. I took my pristine personal car in for a state of North Carolina inspection and shortly thereafter received a phone call from the Firestone store informing me that my car had failed inspection and that I needed to replace all four of my tires. My tires only had 24,460 miles on them and plenty of tread remaining. Robert (the CSR) proceeded to tell me that there was "tread separation" and "major cracking" on all four tires. Dishonest or incompetent- Here's why: Dropped off car for oil change, rotation and alignment. Received a call stating inner tie rods and motor mounts needed replacing and asked if i'd like to proceed. Said 'no', I'll look into it myself. Paid, and told alignment could not be done until tie rods replaced due to slack in steering. Took car to two other repair shops, both said tie rods were great and motor mounts did need replacing. Had mounts replaced, took to another firestone for alignment, which was marginally out of place.... read more

I purchased my first set of tires from Firestone in December 2013. In June 2016 I had a blowout while driving on the highway. When I went back to Firestone they did not have my tires in stock and because my car is all wheel drive, I had to purchase another full set of tires. I had road hazard protection on my tires, and warranty left on them as well. They took advantage of me. I bought my car in a couple of months ago because I noticed a nail in a tire while doing my brakes. No leak what so ever. Took my car in said I wanted the nail taken out and mentioned that I bought my tires at the location. Charged me 42.00 for 2 TPMS and labor to re bead the tire with the nail. No leaks so why did they have to replace anything or re bead the tire. I went to rotate my tires myself this weekend and noticed the exact same nail was there. went to firestone yesterday to get check engine light fixed I wasn't told from the start that I would be charge a diagnosis fee!!!! so they tell me whats wrong with my car an the total price an its a fee on the total price for diagnosis and my only problem is I should have be informed that I was being charged this fee from the start word to the wise ******** ********* ******** or ***** **** don't charge you a diagnosis fee when you get your car fixed there they only charge you a fee if u want them to just diagnosis your car!... read more

This place use to be good. Customer service and car service was top notch. They dropped my daughter's car off the lift and I still went back. They then were extremely condescending to my wife when we picked up her car. When we refused one of their add on services, they actually said "well if you don't want to take care of you car....". We have the check engine light on and then we went to Firestone to have the car diagnosed. They charged us $99.99 for the diagnosis. Then they told us the reason is the mass air flow sensor and want to charge us $400+ for the replacement. We know it will be an easy installment so we refused to take their service, bought a new sensor and installed it, which only took a few minutes. We also did a fuel system cleaning as they recommended. After one day, the light came back and we thought it would take some time to erase it. But... read more
