In the summer of 2013, my oil light came on with my 2007 Toyota Avalon. I checked the oil and saw it was way down. I filled it up and limped into the Branford, CT Firestone Auto Care. I left it overnight and they charged me $ 120.00 diagnostic service. I was told that they refilled the oil, but the leak was caused by a crack in the engine and my alternatives were about $ 7000 for a used engine and about 11-12 K for a new engine. I went to the business in April and they said they had to replace my front right wheel bearing. In September, the Jeep was making a lot of noise in the front. They said that the wheel bearing they replaced was loose and that warranty would cover the part, but not the labor. When I told them that if it is broken after 5 months, it must be because they didn't torque it correctly or didn't use lock-tite. They agreed to cover the labor. Hats off to the great guys and Michael B********, Manager, at this location. I got there early to hopefully get a tire fixed before work, and they did the job and got me out of there in record time. Very polite and friendly; will definitely go there again if I ever have any problems with my car. Thanks, guys! You're great!

I recently went to Firestone Complete Auto Care at 2800 Harrison Ave in Olympia WA to have a set of tires installed on my vehicle which were purchased on *********.com, as they were a listed contract installer with a guaranteed install rate of $68. When I arrived for the installation, I was greeted with an invoice of $120 for the contracted work. I requested no additional work be performed. Went to Firestone in Madison, MS to get an oil change and had to take it back 3 times because my car was leaking oil. The first time they told me it was just excess oil that they spilled in the under pan and needed to clean it. A week later, it was leaking again. This time they said they left a part off of the car that seals it called an O ring or something. They assured me my car was fixed. I took my vehicle here for a safety and emissions and oil change. There was some change stolen out of my car. When I contacted the company, I was told that someone would be contacting me in 24 hours. That was 12 days ago.

I needed to replace a water pump in my car. They said I needed to replace the timing belt as well when I told them it was just replaced. they forced me to do all that work. A small bill turned into a large one.

Took my car in for air in the tires and brake evaluation. Went to pick it up and caught an employee joyriding it up the street doing about 60mph. Was not the mechanic that worked on it. Asked him what he was doing and he said he didn't know. Interior of car now stained with grease.

My mother, Vanessa ****, has dealt with Tires Plus in Cherry Hill, NJ on several occasions. She is older and doesn't know much about cars and I feel they have taken advantage of her because of this. On her first visit, they gave her a credit card and then proceeded to charge her astronomical amounts for work insisting that she used the credit card.
