The location is **** ******** ***** Knoxville, TN 37919. The inspection damaged my battery and they are redundant to do anything. After the inspection and the change of brake pad and rotor, I stopped the car at a restaurant for dinner. After the dinner, I found the car out of battery. I did not think much of it. Great customer service, on time repairs
In January 2017 my 80-year-old mom went to Firestone for an oil change and they used bully tactics to sell her things her car did not need and maxed out her credit card to over $2,200. Their finance company ****** ***** is quite questionable also. I wrote to ****** ***** about what happened to my mom and they sent back a letter saying "We have been advised by Bridgestone/Firestone that your case has been closed."
Horrible Store. Horrible service. Took my money from an online payment and scheduled an appointment. When I got there they had no history of my scheduled appointment for my tires to be changed and they didn't have me marked down as paid, even though the money had been taken out of my account. Also there was no manager just an employee who had no idea what was going on. No a way to run a business.
My vehicle left the Firestone in Brockton, MA, sounding worse than when I brought it in. It was brought in for preventative maintenance (a new belt, a coolant flush and an oil change) They asked me to bring it back in when I told them of the awful noise - and then claimed it was a separate issue: the exhaust manifold leaking slightly/... why, when it wasn't before I brought it in?.... I visited the Gainesville, FL Tires Plus location on 39th when my right front tire started making a horrid grinding noise out of nowhere. They said I needed new calipers (because the right front one was "frozen"), brakes and rotors. Almost $700 worth of repairs. Since I didn't have that much $$, I asked my friends mechanic to look at my car for a second opinion. Turns out the calipers on both sides were just fine. Turned my $700 repair into a simple $170 brake job. They are liars and thieves.
I went to Tires Plus in Lake Mary, Florida to have my brakes checked. I was told that I needed the front brakes done as well as struts, for a total over $1,000. I did not have the work performed at that time. After getting home, I went through my files and found a service receipt from when I purchased the car a year ago and they had just replaced the front brakes. Brought my tape in for a simple wheel balance and alignment and as soon as I drove the truck of the lot it started making noise and two miles later I lost all gears. They refused to take responsibility and wouldn't call back after three weeks they finally told me were denying any wrongdoing. Worst experience ever
