Thrivent denies my access to my husband's online account. My husband has severe dementia. I have power of attorney, but they will not let me view his statements online. I would like to go paperless on his account and am unable to because I can't log into his account. I have my reasons for not wanting our statements mailed to us. My accounts were originally with AAL and rolled into Thrivent. I trusted them for years because of their association with the **************** Very bad mistake. They lack transparency; their online account access is vague. When I ask questions to customer **********************, they give more vague answers and become snippy if I ask for clarification. Have proof in writing I wanted to set up funds I could access at 51, Mike ** set me up with accounts that if I touch before 59 I have to pay a penalty. I have proof in writing and Thrivent will not address or fix. Absolute scumbags stay away from this company, no integrity.

Extremely inconsiderate financial advisors only there to make themselves money, not help people like thrivent use to be about. I had to meet with one to go over death benefits and sign paperwork. He didnt even have any of the paperwork prepared let alone know the amount I was getting. He spent 1.5 hours asking me about my finances like I was there for a normal financing meeting not handing death benefits. This company offers king term care policies. My mother in law and father in law paid premiums for over 20 years and are 86 and 88. They qualified to get into an assisted living facility and after a few months Thrivent bullied them with questions about thier care and what they needed. Then they denied paying. To get it re-instated will be difficult. As far as I'm concerned they are evil crooked people. We have a large family and I intend to get everyone I know to leave a review. This is supposed to be a Christian organization that helps people. They have been anything but that. They have made the claims process incredibly difficult for my elderly mother and myself. I highly advise against using this organization. My mom has been paying her long-term care insurance premiums for years and it has now been over a year with no progress.
