Worst company that I have ever worked with! Absolutely no customer service. Never hear from a agent. Terminated all of our accounts!
Extremely inconsiderate financial advisors only there to make themselves money, not help people like thrivent use to be about. I had to meet with one to go over death benefits and sign paperwork. He didnt even have any of the paperwork prepared let alone know the amount I was getting. He spent 1.5 hours asking me about my finances like I was there for a normal financing meeting not handing death benefits. He spent a significant amount of time trying to convince me to invest my inheritance. Finally I asked if I could just sig... read more
This company offers king term care policies. My mother in law and father in law paid premiums for over 20 years and are 86 and 88. They qualified to get into an assisted living facility and after a few months Thrivent bullied them with questions about thier care and what they needed. Then they denied paying. To get it re-instated will be difficult. As far as I'm concerned they are evil crooked people. We have a large family and I intend to get everyone I know to leave a review. DO NOT GIVEVANY MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE!!!<br /> ... read more
This is supposed to be a Christian organization that helps people. They have been anything but that. They have made the claims process incredibly difficult for my elderly mother and myself. I highly advise against using this organization. My mom has been paying her long-term care insurance premiums for years and it has now been over a year with no progress. A non-profit organization has no incentive to be the best of the best. My claims coordinator doesn't return e-mails half the time and NEVER answers her phone. Voicemails ... read more
I paid on 2 life insurance policies for my children for over 10 years. I received a letter saying that the policies were paid for now and I no longer had to pay premiums. I was trying to get my affairs in order and give the policies to my children and was told the policies no longer exist after 10 hours of phone calls. So much for Lutherans.
They had a contract to take out taxes and they failed, and iam stuck with a huge tax bill. They are a horrible company, don't trust them. They are an evil empire of dome. They are unethical, and only care about annuity, that will leave poor, and leave them Rich. They are nothing but, unthetical, and I have have proof, of what they agreed to, but, changed what they agreed to you. I know they will not take any responsibility for changing what they agreed to. Don't do any business with this company. They are EVIL fact. Maybe a ... read more
My sister-in-law has power of attorney; my husband's father is in a memory unit and absolutely unable to conduct his own financial affairs. Thrivent is refusing to give her access to his accounts online; explanation on the phone: "We can't be sure that you are acting in his best interests, we are protecting him"--from the daughter he chose to conduct his affairs! Illegal and unethical; do NOT use these people!
My dad just turned 103 this month, I, his son is his power of attorney for financial, and health. Every year during tax season Thrivent refuses to send tax information and refuses online access. So be aware, buy with them and your heirs are denied any access. My dad bought this policy during WW ll, and the family has no access. Total bad investment. Stay away from this company. They ride under AAL, and are *****, phone and website no support. STAY AWAY.....
Wish i could give zero stars. do not invest in or purchase products from this completely unethical company. Their employees are NOT fiduciaries and take NO CARE in handling your money. When you die your loved ones will be tasked with dealing with these terrible people, this company does not want to or possibly can't afford to pay out. They drag their feet requesting the same forms multiple times, maybe they will pay eventually, 65 days and $14K they lost, later they have yet to pay me. They can take the money, they can't pay... read more
