I applied online. Received an email with information on how to start my account online, how to sign up for e-statements, and o that my debit card would be in the mail in two weeks. I had to call because I was having trouble and they said sorry we can’t open you an account. I asked why and was told that they couldn’t tell me. I guess I’m glad because that is not the customer service I would like to experience.
Once upon a time. . . when it was Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL) this was a good company with Christian values. Now it is a cold-hearted corporation whose only values seem to be greed and contention. Since 2013, not a year has passed by where my family has not had trouble with Thrivent, from their Member Relations department all the way up through the management of the Company.
