They are terrible to work with. They never return phone calls. Do not do business with them.
Thrivent has been extremely difficult to work with!! My elderly mother who resides in a nursing facility bought the Thrivent spiel and had signed up with them years ago. She had purchased nursing home insurance. When it came time for her to use it, they fought it tooth and nail. I had to get numerous, numerous affidavits and legal declarations and sent them a two-inch thick folder of documentation in order for them to finally cover her. Terrible company to deal with. Settling and estate that had policies with Thrivent. They make you supply documents that are not needed by other insurance companies. Will not send or receive emails. There higher purpose is to make it difficult for their clients.
If I could give 0 stars I would. This company ************ their employees like dirt. They do not care about their people. I have not worked for Thrivent but I know someone who has and they were treated like a throw away and targeted to be driven out of the business. Not a religious company at all. Their VPs are not leaders and treat people terribly. They absolutely stone wall you legally and do nothing that is indicative or care or concern. The moment you need them, they're gone hiding behind their legal team via voicemail!Absolutely horrible, ethically disgusting behaviour.
We have a fantastic rep who keeps in touch, explains everything very well. However, I learned from ******** that they celebrate LBGTQ. So much for being a Christian organization. When I questioned someone at their main office, it was confirmed that they need to be inclusive.

This company lied to my mother about her money when she invested with them. They prey on seniors as she found them through one of her senoir groups she used to go too. She was talked into putting a large sum of her money in an investment they told her would be safe and was guaranteed to produce 3% interest, they also told her it would not cost her anything to keep her money with them.
