Since Nov. of 2021, I have had NSF Check Returns on all of my payments made- I have contacted Loan Depot customer support many times, filed a Complaint with the Consumer FP Bureau and have made various pleas to the loan depot customer support teams but still face the same issue Whenever I make an online payment or payment over the phone, I get an NSF Check Return although I do have money in my bank. LoanDepot wasted my time, took $495 appraisal monies, and tried to take more. They quoted $900+ for a second appraisal required "by the county," which would be added to the closing cost (still out of my pockets). They constantly delayed the process for an "ILS form" their appraiser should have submitted, constantly changed representatives I worked with that had no clue of, or access to previously collected files, causing more delay. I was told checking my credit report would not lower my score. Loan depot lied when I checked my credit report it went against me.

Loan Depot reached out to me in January. I worked with a rep, exchanging several emails and phone calls. I sent numerous documents, and was quoted a certain rate. Then the rep disappeared. I continued to try reaching the rep, with no success. Two months later, Loan Depot reached out again. This time it was a different rep. *** rep provided quotes that were 25% higher than previous quotes. He said he was going to "elevate" my case, but still came back with the same new high rates, with additional fees that were also far highe... read more
