I tried for days to get someone any one to call me back to answer my questions but I heard from no one the first time I refinanced with loan depot it went very well but based off my last experience I would not recommend them. All in all it cost me an additional $3000.00 dollars because I couldn't get anyone to call back not happy with theses people at all.

I had started to refinance my home loan and was very quick on getting your company everything they needed including a contact number and information on a lien I had within the City which was part of a homeowners program I took. Prior to the appraisal being done I had contacted Loan Depot to make sure that the subordination was possible. It would make no sense for me to pay for an appraisal and to try to refinance if that was the case. I was assured that that would not be a problem. I worked with Conrad and Carrie out of their CA office. From the beginning Conrad was great to work with. He answered all of my questions, gave suggestions/advice and quickly followed up on answers to some of my questions and to provide different loan work ups as we were figuring out what we wanted to do. We did a cash out home refinance and we got an excellent rate (I know because I compared them initially to 2 other online lenders, my local bank who I had my last 2 mortgages with and my credit union). The Loan Depot team here in Tallahassee were so good to me. Answering all my questions whether I called, emailed, or sent a text, I always received an answer on a timely manner. They’re communication and guidance through the whole process is what helped me feel comfortable knowing that everything was going to be just fine. They were on top of it all covering every step along the way!

I spoke with Thomas B**** and when I first asked Thomas to help me, he spoke with an Underwriter and a case was made to support my time on the job and income. Thomas assured me it would not be a problem and all we needed to work on was Income, Income, Income. That my loan will stay with the Underwriter we already received pre-approval from. Loan Depot had our first mortgage and we just wanted to refi so we could get a better interest rate, no money out just a better rate. It took 6 months and I sent them so many copies of my information that I am very concerned about my information being kept safe because they could never find it. The close was very easy but wow when they hold your mortgage already and then it took 6 months and my info to everybody and their brother and no one can find it, It scares me.

I had a great experience with them, Jordan M**** was my loan officer and he was very knowledgeable. He projected a lot of confidence throughout the whole process and made us feel we were in professional hands all the time. He and his team did a great job in responding always on time and answering all of my questions!

Initial set up was quick and easy but because so many people were refinancing (low rates) it took longer than expected. Overall, satisfied with process.
