This was my experience lets call it bate and switch .. after 58 days of hell waiting and calling my loan officer Rickey P****** my loan was denied. this was a loan with lender credits. They asked we to reapply at a higher rate and and 1/2 the lender credit and got approved was a scam .or what ?.

I recently refinanced my home Mortgage I had with another from Loan Depot with a lower interest rate and a streamlined V.A. backing for the loan. I dealt with Mike H. and Vincent R. in the California office. They both were very helpful, answered my questions I had in a timely manner during the whole process time it took to finalize the new loan. I would recommend them for anyone that wants a pleasant experience during this process.

Original Loan Depot representative was excellent. The process took a little over a month (did two refi). Dashboard was a great way to get status on documents/specific files, etc.

I refinance with this organization. Terrible customer service. I do not recommend them We had hail damage on April 28th, a representative of the Loan depot has to sign off on the check and mailed back to homeowner to get roof replaced. We were told to send to loss draft Dept in Troy MI. They indicated would be 3 to 5 business days , Followed up after 7 business days by email to loss draft dept . They emailed back that check was sent by UPS , when I tracked the check on UPS it was delivered to another of their offices , and w... read more

The process was fine except our closing statement changed multiple times! We went with Loan Depot for three reasons : rate, closing costs and the ability to make biweekly payments via bank draft. We were told this was absolutely available. Well, today I find out it is not true! We are stuck with the traditional monthly payment method per my conversation with customer service this morning. Refinanced last year and it was fairly easy with no speed bumps. We escrow insurance and taxes with them to make life easier. I have the email where my insurance agent emailed a copy of the policy and bill but somehow the payment did not proceed until I called to see what happened. The insurance lapsed but was paid shortly after, no harm no foul everybody messes up some time right. Adam R******* was absolutely a joy to work with. I was very hesitant to work with a lender online as I prefer the face to face and knowing who I am speaking with but Adam got my trust right away. He was so patient, helpful, available, and always true to his word. LoanDepot claims to match or beat any other offer and THIS IS TRUE! He proved it on a couple occasions.
