I didn’t know what to expect since I was working through the internet and not at a local bank branch. However, it turned out to be the most seamless process imagined. It was by far the lowest refi rate that we could find and lowest fees, the loan office and customer service rep were very knowledgeable and incredibly responsive. While pleased with the rate I was able to lock, I was not pleased with the closing, I was sent 3 checks that I did not need.(Accounts paid off previously. The account that was supposed to be paid off was not. The 3 checks totaled $88.60. While it was important for me to pay off accounts, LoanDepot left me high and dry with checks to pay off accounts already paid and the one account that was listed on the closing papers was not paid off, This seemed off to me.
